🏀  Summer Workouts - June & July
Starting next week, we will begin our summer workouts for the Richmond Guardians Basketball Team! These sessions will run throughout June and July and are open to anyone interested in playing in the 2025–2026 season with the Guardians.
This is a great opportunity to meet the coaches, connect with other players, build community, get in some practice, and have fun! While summer workouts are optional, we highly encourage everyone who can attend to join us.
Weekly Practice Schedule (Tuesdays):
- 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM | 12U & 14U Boys
- 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM | Girls
- 8:00 PM – 9:30 PM | 16U & 18U Boys
Important Note:
There will not be practice on Tuesday, June 24th due to the church hosting Vacation Bible School that week.
🏀  Practice Reminders
Please keep the following in mind for all practices:
- Be On Time:Â Athletes should arrive promptly so practices can start on time and run smoothly.
- Pick Up On Time:Â Please be sure athletes are picked up promptly when their practice ends.
- Stay in the Gym:Â Everyone must remain in the gym during practice. No one is allowed in other areas of the facility.
- Stay Hydrated:Â Athletes must bring a water bottle or sports drink and stay hydrated.
- Waiver Required:Â All athletes must have a completed waiver on file to participate. If you haven't filled one out recently, please do so before the first workout.

We need your help to spread the word! If you know other homeschool families with students who may be interested in playing basketball, please invite them to join us for summer workouts. This is a great, no-pressure way to check out the team, meet the coaches, and see what we’re all about. The Richmond Guardians are always looking to develop new talent and build a strong, encouraging community—and your referrals are one of our most powerful recruiting tools.
